Devon Street
The Devon Street Project explores the relationship between music, performance and visual storytelling through a documentary, music video and promotional shorts for the band. The work provided an opportunity to develop a visual approach to the band’s identity, while exploring the process of directing artists and capturing authentic moments through film.
The documentary explores the humble beginnings of the band, focusing on the individual stories, experiences and relationships that brought the group together. Through personal interviews and observational footage, the film looks beyond the music to uncover their origins, creative influences and the journey that shaped them as artists. The project offers an intimate portrait of the boys behind the band and the early foundations of their shared ambition.

The one take music video was one of the bands first music videos, capturing their emerging identity and creative direction. The video provided an opportunity to translate the energy of their music into a visual language, while experimenting with performance, location and storytelling to create a piece that reflected the band at the beginning of their journey.

The third part of this project also explored translating the band’s story into short-form content for social media, maintaining the documentary’s intimate and authentic style. Carefully selected moments were shaped into engaging pieces that captured the personalities, energy and story behind the group.
